gives me reason to fall in love all over again with the music of Emily Remler, as we commemorate year 53 on her upcoming birthday of September 18th. em dóna raons per enamorar-se de nou amb la música d'Emily Remler, a commemorar 53 anys en el seu pròxim aniversari del 18 de setembre.
This is the time to dig deeper into her work, to find that song on an early or unpublished album that you haven't paid attention to in depth and give it a fresh listen, a process which always leaves me reflective of what could have been, who she might have played with by now had she made it this far down the road. Most certainly at some point we would have been treated to a few duo recordings from Em and Kelly, maybe one comprised of their favorite Beatles songs, which they played often on their many tours in tandem but regrettably never captured on tape. Sens dubte en algun moment ens han tractat a un duo d'enregistraments pocs Em i Kelly, potser un compost per les seves cançons preferides dels Beatles, que va jugar sovint en les seves moltes gires en conjunt, però lamentablement mai capturat a la cinta.

Aaaahhhhh…..Emily! Aaaahhhhh ... .. Emily! The memories this music brings back of a brief time when we were friends. Les memòries d'aquesta música porta de tornada d'un breu temps, quan érem amics. She used to come and sit in my office to practice while she briefly lived in Pittsburgh. Solia venir a seure a la meva oficina a la pràctica mentre ella va viure breument a Pittsburgh. Now my son plays in a jazz trio and listens to Emily's music for inspiration! Ara el meu fill juga en un trio de jazz i escolta la música d'Emily a la recerca d'inspiració!
