  4. We didn’t get to hear the “Solo” portion of her repertoire enough, which makes the few that have come to recent light especially joyous. What a wonderful keepsake you have and can recall as you listen to this performance…

  5. Thanks for sharing Lu, truly fine stuff. I saw Emily at the Back Stage in Seattle about 1988. Before the trio started, she came out and played an entire warmup set doing solo things similar to what’s featured here…what a special night of great playing.
