In his memory, once again take delight in this 1983 recording of Emily and Herb in Amsterdam and savor the sweet exchanges of two lovely guitars now joined in Club Paradise.



Beautifully said Si, thanks for reminding us of that place and time.
Herb always came across through his playing as a warm and friendly person uncomplicated in his absolute love of music. He communicated his emotions when he played in the same way Emily did. When Emily passed away he was one of the main contributors to her first tribute album ‘Just Friends’, Herb wrote in the liner notes:
“Emily had it all musically – good time and technique. She brought a lot of love to the things she did, including the people around her. She will be missed terribly, but luckily she left us a musical legacy. My part on this album is just a way of saying goodbye, and I love you.”
