This is a French import (can’t you tell by the cover.. wee wee), that is solid! Emily’s Afro Blue is one of several fantastic lesser known and overlooked jazz offerings here. The incredible Cal Tjader is on it plus cuts from The Duke and The Chairman.
Got mine on Ebay and it’s a real live 33 rpm record. Old School! Good luck in finding yours, try import websites and seller’s that specialize in vinyl.

This one features Emily in a 3rd person sense. The included song is a David Benoit composition from his album “Waiting For Spring” called Cast Your Fate To the Wind.

Somehow I think Emily wouldn’t have been delighted about being included on an album with this moniker. Ignore the implication of such a title, it doesn’t represent the music here.
